Henry Speight, I know a strange choice but honestly i had him on my bench last week brought him as he did so well, I’m convinced that was it for him.

Brumbies, Tahs and Blues are off next week so make sure you are not too loaded with players from these teams after you changes this week.

Foley, Hooper. Now, this is risky, but with the Tahs on a bye next week, I’m trading out Foley now for a couple of games. You could also get rid of Hooper for the same reason. Keep Folau. Rebels could keep the Tah’s in check, but it’s Folau so he gets 30 pts for turning up.

Brumbies – we got caught out on this last week, as the brumbie’s backs came to life, bu they’ve got the Sharks then a bye. Only hold Naisarani.

A Savea – I’ve lost the faith. Use the bye to trade him out. He’s playing a lot closer to the breakdown this year, and finding himself out wide less. You could also trade out TJ, yes he’s on a bye ofc, but Cronje’s a great pick across the next couple of games as long as the Lions don’t rest him.

Ardie Savea, I reckon he’s worth hold onto for after the bye as the Hurricanes beat the mighty Crusaders. I must admit like Feast II’m close to binning him though.

Jordie Barret – same reason as above, although the second part of what I said does not apply to him. He looks sharp and I think if you can keep him in there money wise we pay off in the weeks to come after this one.

Mostert has definitely been under-performing this season so far but I have faith in him this week, it’s the sunwolves in Jo’burg after all.

It’s a brave man that buys into the Jags on a single game. They’ve got two home games running this week against the Reds, and then the Lions. I am not bringing any in, bar one. The problem you’ve got is that the Jags are always one of the last games, so you can’t see how they play off the bench and then adjust your transfers.

I’m also not bringing in Blues, simply because they have a bye next week. This could be painful, given the Stormers are injury depleted and invariably let teams score points. Both Ioane’s racked up the points as did SBW. If you’ve got them, you have to hold on to them this week, but don’t bring them in.

Alaimalo, mainly bec the chiefs have a couple of easier fixtures at home and this guy is rapid. He could rack up major points and value in the next 2 fixtues. Damien McKensie is also a must at 15 this week.

Lions players if you need a 10 this week look no further than Elton Jantjies, if you can afford him. A worthwhile pick this week against the Sunwolves. Kwagga is starting and looks like he’ll play a full 80 with all the loose forward injuries, a few runs and his points will sky rocket. I just hope he gets some decent ball. Rohan playing on the wing could be huge!

Tiaan Falcon is starting at 10 for The Chiefs which a bargain pick, he’s a young talented player and only priced at a mere $144K, if you need someone cheep at 10 with 2 pretty easy fixtures ahead of him, this is the guy.

Mafi – kind of stating the obvious, but even though he put in a super week last week, he dropped in value … WTF …. now’s the time to trade up if you haven’t already got him. The Rebels have an ok run of 5 games, but outside of the big man there’s better, more consistent scoring players elsewhere. With the exception of Uelese, everyone’s got him now right ?

Chiefs – Alaimalo, Weber (TJ replacement option) and DMck if you lost faith, haven’t got him. Back at 15 he edges Folau in the fantasy gold stakes. Tian Falcon is cheap as chips as well if you’re strapped, and whilst a gamble could get reasonable points for two weeks and free up cash for you to trade up a backrow or outside back.

Lions so many options here with back to back games against the Sunwolves, then at the Jags. It’s going to be picking the right ones, and keeping an eye on benches, to pick those who are licking to get a full game. Kwagga’s about the only fit backrow left, puked in value last week as the Lions generally laid and egg, but I’m backing him this week. For those A Savea holders, he’s an option to swap in. I really like Coetzee & RJvR as well, but really can make a case for any of their backs given the opposition and I think it comes down to your budget and what you’re doing elsewhere. Mostert is also reasonably priced now as well. Just try to make sure you’ve got some Lions covered because I think they bounce back in a big way this week.

KEREVI if you weren’t sure and have been playing other options, he went off at 12 last week, faces a questionable Jags defence, all be it at altitude, but is a great transfer for those looking for a Laumape substitute.

Willemse and possibly Leyds if he’s playing 15 – the Stormers are now in SA for 4 weeks. I don’t like that they’ve got so many injuries, and that a few have been fighting illness, but I love that fact Willemse is run first, and the Stormers play a great game of attacking ruby at home.

Creevy – for those priced out of Marx, if you’ve been playing cheaper options like a Mann-Rea, Ricciteli now could be a great time to trade up. The alternative is to get in Paenga-Amosa. Love this guy, been trying to find a way to get him in all year on the bench.
